English Teachers of Gilbert A. Dater High School: Summer is almost over. I hope your summer has been everything you wanted it to be. I'm so looking forward to seeing you again but this one went by pretty quick. I've got a few announcements to help you catch up on all that's been happening (and all that has not been happening) over the summer. 1. Mr. Sippel returns as our Principal. Ms. Adewusi returns as AP and Ms. Danielle Battle takes Ms. Uecker's spot. Ms. Battle and I worked together as teachers at Hughes STEM and she is going to be a great AP. When I talked to Sippel about 10 days ago, their duties had not been decided. 2. I'll be around the building for a few hours on 8/1 and 8/3. I'll also be around most of next week. (I'm weird--I need to come in from time to time during the summer to remember what it's like to be at school. It helps me remember all the things I need to do--even if I don't get a whole lot finished. I tend to go in
